Important considerations
Graduate Attributes
The Transdisciplinary (TD-GA) and Indigenous Perspective (IP-GA) aspects of a course proposal cannot be approved by the College Education Sub Committee and College Education Committee. These two bodies can make a recommendation to the Associate Dean (Education) for the courses to be nominated to the centrally approved list.
Impact on other objects
When creating or disestablishing a new curriculum object, it is important to consider whether it should be added to or removed from a "parent" object. For example, an course may sit within a program or a major, minor or specialisation. If it is to be added or removed from said object, that object will require an amendment to be submitted in tandem and may follow different timelines.
