Resources for high schools

Find out about our outreach programs for high schools.

The ANU Colleges of Science cover a broad range of scientific areas including astronomy, biology, chemistry, earth and marine sciences, environmental sciences, mathematics, health, psychology, physics, and science communication.

Our world-leading research is headed up by some of Australia’s, and the worlds, greatest scientists and they are available to inspire your students through a range of practical and informative workshops, and presentations.

If you are interested in a particular science area and you cannot find a relevant program listed please contact science@anu.edu.au to see if we can arrange another activity for your class.

We encourage you to come onto campus and try one of our practical laboratory classes in one of the following areas - biology, chemistry and physics.

Our academics can also present at schools, online or on-campus on a number of topics.

Presentations can be tailored to suit the current curriculum and meet the requirements of science teachers. Below is a list of the scientists and disciplines available for school visits.
