We have a ten per cent share in the Giant Magellan Telescope under construction in Chile. When it’s completed, it will be the world’s most powerful telescope, with a resolution ten times better than the Hubble Space Telescope.

This makes ANU, in cooperation with Astronomy Australia Limited (AAL), the major Australian partner for this ground-breaking facility which will lead to unprecedented insight into our universe.
